![]() Why would someone care/know what calibration means? I don't really deal with rigs. Have you ever heard of the "Show Info" Option? Can't believe you opened a thread complaining about how CCP can't fix something when you're just unable to read. ![]() You appear to have what you are after already, whether you'd like to admit it or not. So again, EVE mirrors life better than any other MMO. It's called EFT or EVEHQ (or others) where you can test your fits to make sure they're possible before screwing it all up. So, CCP don't code to stop you doing this but "people" have made a way around this. It lets you make your mistakes and therefore learn from them. So in that respect EVE is very much more like life than other MMOs precisely because it doesn't hold your hand in the same way. They accept responsibility for their actions and learn from it. Generally, people don't rail at for not telling them they were about to make a mistake. You screw up and you learn from your mistakes. Sorry but in real life you don't have code that tells you when you're about to screw up. In RL people would've made a way around this. Sorry to say, but they really aren't holding up to the "EVE is real" moto. But I still think CCP needs to look at messing with this to let us skill up in this area. Anyways, I am just going to write this off as a mistake. If you want to have your hand held so you don't screw up might I suggest you try a different game? EVE isn't World of Warcraft. ![]() This will also help you to avoid making similar mistakes. Don't confuse you making a mistake because you didn't look into the situation with there being a problem with the game. You won't get stung by it again because you've learned (hopefully) from your mistake. You screwed up because you didn't look at the properties of the things you were using and you got stung by it. Lol! Treat it as the learning exercise it is. There is nothing telling you there is no skills to help you out there. So, how would a noob (or a noob dealing with rigs) know what to look out for? Anyways, if you search this problem you can find people asking to fix it every so often. Most of us like the fact that everything isn't done for us, that EVE has a steep learning curve and the fact that everything is a learning experience. I suggest in future you actually bother to look into the things you're trying to do rather than just assume that your idiocy will be countered by code.
